Grille de la semaine #16 [League of Extraordinary Ladies and Gentlemen #3]

Ladies and gentlemen, a rather gentle puzzle today to bring back things to a more human level after two pretty tough puzzles (as it seems) on days 1 and 2. Pointing evens sudoku is a variant I created about two years ago and that you may, or may not, have already seen here or there. Have fun!

Each row, column and region must contain the digits from 1 to 9. Clues outside the grid correspond to the number of even digits in the diagonal indicated by the arrow.

  1. I have to say, this is the first pointing evens sudoku I actually enjoyed solving. I saw all logic that I had to. Very nicely made.

  2. ps. There is an error in the rules. The digit can repeat along the diagonals.

    1. Indeed, sorry about that. I was in a hurry and I copied the rules from the previous puzzle without checking. Since there are repeating digits among the givens, I guess it was easy to spot - but still, I hope it didn't affect anyone's solving.
I am glad you found the intended route and liked it; from the author's point of vue, it was a pleasant puzzle to make since I have a particular affection for the piece of logic I used here.
      Thank you for your comment.
